Joseph G. Sprague, FAIA, FACHA | Vice President
Joe Sprague is Senior Vice President and Director of Health Facilities for HKS Architects, a leading international health facilities planning and design firm. He serves as health facilities principal and technical advisor on various health care projects.
Prior to joining HKS, Joe was Director, Design and Construction for the American Hospital Association. His work is widely published and he is a frequent consultant, faculty speaker, and lecturer in health facility planning, design and construction. While at the AHA, Joe managed the nationally recognized Health Facility Codes and Standards Program and led the health care industry in a “common sense” approach to facility standards. He received a Master of Architecture in Health Facility Design from Texas A&M University and Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University.
