David Moon, AIA, FACHA | Trustee

With over 22 years of experience, Mr. Moon is ACHA Board Certified in the specialty of Healthcare Architecture. His passion for creating therapeutic environments has been at the forefront of his firm's practice, and he has made the design of quality healthcare projects his personal mission.

Mr. Moon has served on numerous design juries, has spoken and been published on many occasions, and has served the Healthcare Architecture community as a whole. He is a Past President of the AIA National Academy of Architecture for Health, Past-Chair of the AIA California Council Health Facilities Committee, Fellow and Past-Regent of The American College of Healthcare Architects, and is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation.

Mr. Moon is the Managing Principal of Moon Mayoras Architects, Inc., located in San Diego, California. 100% of the firm's work is currently related to the programming, design and construction of healthcare facilities.
